New Construction

HVAC and plumbing for new construction across Clermont and Central Florida, planned at the blueprint phase so builds stay on time and on budget.

Central Florida is building fast, from new subdivisions along US 27 in Clermont and Minneola to Horizon West and beyond, and the best time to get heating, cooling, and plumbing right is at the blueprint phase, before the walls go up. Strategic Heating & Air works with builders, general contractors, and homeowners on new construction across Lake County, west Orange County, and the surrounding Central Florida communities.

We handle the HVAC and plumbing side of new construction, designed and installed to fit the home and the budget, with equipment sized for Florida's long cooling season and heavy humidity. And if a project has stalled partway through (a contractor fell through, the timeline slipped, the original installer didn't work out), we can step in and finish the HVAC and plumbing so the build stays on track.

What we handle: blueprint-phase HVAC and plumbing consultation; energy-efficient system selection and sizing for new homes; full HVAC rough-in and installation for new construction; plumbing rough-in and installation for new construction; coordination with builders and general contractors; and stepping into stalled projects to complete the HVAC and plumbing scope, across Clermont, Minneola, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Windermere, Orlando, Apopka, Tavares, Eustis, Leesburg, and Ocala.

Building new, or stuck with a project that stalled? Call Strategic Heating & Air to talk through the HVAC and plumbing scope. We work with builders and homeowners across Central Florida.

FAQs

Common Questions You May Have

These are the questions we hear most from Central Florida homeowners. If you don't see yours, give us a call.
Do you install and replace AC systems and heat pumps?

Yes. We install and replace central air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits across Clermont, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Orlando, Tavares, Ocala, and nearby communities. We size every system to the house instead of guessing, so you get steady comfort and lower power bills through the long cooling season.

What indoor air quality services do you offer?

Central Florida humidity is hard on the air inside your home. We install and service the iWave air purification system, which reduces odors and allergens and helps kill mold, bacteria, and viruses, along with upgraded filtration and dehumidification that work with your existing HVAC. If anyone in the home deals with allergies, asthma, or constant congestion, this is where we'd start.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We provide free estimates on installation and replacement projects, including new AC systems, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, indoor air quality upgrades, and new construction work. For diagnostic visits on existing equipment, a service call fee may apply, and we credit it toward the cost of any repair you authorize.

Do you offer emergency heating and cooling service?

When your system goes down, we treat it like the emergency it is, because a house with no AC in August isn't something that can wait. Our promise is straightforward: no matter the time of day or the day of the week, call Strategic Heating & Air and we'll respond as fast as we can. Preventive Maintenance Program members get priority when the schedule is full.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Central Florida from our Clermont office, including Minneola, Groveland, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Windermere, Orlando, Apopka, Tavares, Eustis, Mount Dora, Leesburg, and Ocala.

Do you serve Orlando and Ocala?

Yes. We regularly work in Orlando and Ocala along with Clermont, Lake County, and west Orange County. Calls closest to Clermont are usually the fastest to schedule.

Are you licensed and insured in Florida?

Yes. Strategic Heating & Air is licensed and insured in Florida. Proof of license and insurance is available on request.

What should I do if my AC stops working in summer?

Set the thermostat to cool below room temperature, check the batteries, reset any tripped breaker, and replace a dirty filter. In Florida, a clogged condensate drain is a common culprit, and many systems have a safety switch that shuts the AC off when the drain backs up. If you see ice or water around the indoor unit, shut the system off and call us.
